By Greendale , December 8, in Logic Pro. There, you'll find the option to "Unclick in bit Mode". Once you "unclick" that option, the next time you initiate Logic, it should be in bit mode. Been using Logic in bit mode for quite a while, now.
All of the plug-ins and VIs that I use are bit capable too. Life is good. It's only 'more stable' if you are still using 32bit plugins.. I firmly believe that running Logic in 64bit mode is the way to go Nigel Logic Pro Personally I prefer using only bit plugins to the point that I choose to buy only those even though there are some that I'd like to have but they're not bit native, and if I ever have to use a bit unit, I render them into audio files.

It was just set up like that when i started using a couple of months ago and I wasn't aware of the choice. I have 4gb of ram and wonder if I am not getting the full use of this in 32 bit. Posted December 12, Thanks for your input. I wasn't sure if it was just the 32 to 64 bridge.. And by the way, Stillwell is one notable laggard when it comes to upgrading their plugins to bit.
In fact if they released Bombardier and a few others in bit I'd buy them instantly. NovaAaron Posted December 13, Posted December 13, I tried to use bit and I have lots of fluttering and distortion.
Could it be my interface? Twister Posted December 13, I just upgraded my memory to 16gb and have been trying to do something in 64 bit. Half of my plugin aren't working in 64 bit, so it's kind of pita. I've been looking for 64 bit plugin which shows audio waveform, like smexoscope, but no luck yet.
